Student projects
Write your creative project, research or practical assignment at Tartu Hackerspace!
Tartu Hackerspace (Häkkerikoda MTÜ) invites all students interested in computer science, cybersecurity and free & open source software to make use of our space and tools for conducting student creative work or research and practical assignments. We will assign each student a mentor who will guide you in using various tools and appliances available at the hackerspace. Participation is free.
Our members can help with topics such as:
- Designing objects up to 30×30×28cm in size and 3D printing;
- Configuring Arduino or Raspberry Pi microcontrollers;
- Creating and publishing websites and software;
- Analyzing operating systems and software;
- Projects related to small electronics: soldering, debugging, repairing;
- Building and repairing computers;
- Using and expanding free data sources.
If your idea is related to computers, software or small electronics, but is not listed above, reach out anyway! We can still help in most cases.

Häkkerikoda MTÜ processes the personal data you submit in this form to collect and manage student project submissions. The legal basis is your consent, providing the information is voluntary. Your data is accessible only to persons involved in managing student projects. We keep it no longer than 31.12.2027 and then delete it. You may withdraw your consent and request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data by contacting info@hakkerikoda.ee. You may also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
