Bon Appétit, hacker!

At this event, we’re busting the myth that hackers survive solely on pizza and Coca-Cola. In reality, we know how to prepare quite healthy meals and experiment with food — or, in other words, “hack” recipes. Through practical examples, we’ll show how to turn simple, basic ingredients into delicious dishes — ensuring nothing is left over or goes to waste. It’s essentially a survival course for any student!
Our initiative was inspired by another wonderful community group in Tartu (MTÜ Toit ei ole prügi – “Food Is Not Trash”; toiteioleprugi.ee). Their mission to rescue food resources is so impactful that it prompts any sensible person to consider how the rational management of food — using it skillfully and economically — can significantly improve the economic, physical, and social well-being of individual households (and, by extension, society as a whole).
On top of all that, we’ll be making pancakes, waffles, hummus, garlic spread, chocolate, and plenty of other tasty treats.
